How to Make Stuffed Peppers in the Air Fryer

NOTE: I air fry with a Cosori 5.8qt air fryer. If you are using a different brand of air fryer you may need to adjust the cook time as needed. Make sure the peppers are not touching so that the heat and hot air can circulate throughout the basket and prevent you from having soggy peppers.

How do I store remaining Air Fryer Stuffed Peppers?

Store any leftover stuffed peppers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

What are some substitutions I can use in this recipe?

In addition to ground beef, chicken, and turkey, you can also add in a little Italian sausage. If you’re wanting to add more protein and fiber to this recipe, consider adding in some black beans and adding sour cream or sliced avocado to the tops of the peppers. You can also top this dish with mozzarella cheese in place of the colby jack cheese. This is also a great way to use up leftover taco meat or fajita meats!

What side dishes can I serve with stuffed peppers?

I love to serve this dish with a side salad and breadsticks. This is a great recipe for a busy weeknight and one that’s perfect if you’re looking for different ways to use leftovers. It’s a family favorite recipe that’s always a big hit at my house. More Air Fryer Recipes:
